New Ghost album “Meloria” breaks all the rules

New Ghost album Meloria breaks all the rules

Jesse Toscano, Reporter

The mysterious Nameless Ghouls of the band Ghost (formerly known as Ghost B.C.) have once again revealed themselves from their shroud of mystery, and with them they return with a new album titled Meloria. Having parted ways with  Papa Emeritus II; they return with his successor Papa Emeritus the third. Meloria is Latin for the pursuit of something better; they have certainly achieved that with Emeritus the third’s mesmerizing vocals, and the melodic heavy metal riffs of the Nameless Ghouls. They leave the listener wanting more from the mysterious group, and with the question of who is Ghost? And why they choose to conceal their identities. Who ever they might be they are certainly a force to be reckoned with. The first week their album went on sale it peaked at #8 on the US Billboard chart. With their hypnotizing melodic guitar solos; it’s no doubt it has become an instant classic. With their songs Spirit, From the Pinnacle to the Pit, Cirice, He Is, Mummy Dust, Majesty, Absolution, and Deus in Absentia they have managed to surpass what was believed to be their best album “Infestissumam”.

With this new album Ghost has done something very new to them. They did their very first unplugged show in a few record stores around the US to support their record. Even without their electric guitars and full band they still managed to mesmerize the crowd with their catchy songs. Papa Emeritus was able to display his hypnotic kazoo skills to fill in for their keyboard player. With his charisma and the band’s excellent performance they amazed the crowd. On the 22nd of September they will kick off their North American tour and spread their mysterious music to us all. This October they will perform in LA and San Diego. After they will embark on a European tour and then to the rest of the world!New
