Rap-duo, The Underachievers, dropped their highly anticipated mixtape. This mixtape is unlike their “conscious-rap” style. Several producers incorporated their beats into the mixtape, including Ronny J. “Really Got It” and “Play That Way” were the two songs that the duo released before the mixtape dropped. All ten songs have a clean flow by both AK and Issa Gold. “It Happened in Flatbush” has been their first release since “Evermore: the Art of Duality”.

The album had an 80 percent average of positive reviews. The majority of listeners claim the mixtape to be “pure flame” or “fire” from start to finish. The album is a unique departure from the style of the previous album “Evermore: The Art of Duality”. The songs on this mixtape are definitely more fast-paced and highly energized.

The Underachievers are on the Smokers Club tour with Smoke DZA, Nick Caution, G Herbo, and more. The duo also announced that there will be several other areas they will be playing in that they might have missed on the tour.
