High school drop out rates increasing drastically

The District of Columbia is the highest state for dropout rates. Their percentage was 94%. The most common reason why kids drop out of school is because they were failing too many  classes. Students around the nation are dropping out because they were failing too many classes not because they got into drugs or they needed to support their family. It was because of the simplest thing, they were failing classes they could have been aching. Nowadays students who fail the classes fail because they were told that they wouldn’t make it and since no one believed in them neither do themselves. Other reasons were because they didn’t try to finish the school work. The ages 16-24 are the most common not enrolled in school.  34 percent of the dropouts were hispanic, 21 percent were the black youth, and 12 percent were white. As you notice the huge gaps between races the hispanic youth is still most likely to drop out of high school than other races. In 2011 one fourth of high school students dropped out. Dropouts have been reported to have been arrested six more times than graduates. In the graphs below it is shown more male than female dropout of highschool. From personal experience almost my entire family has not made it out of highschool. Their reasons were never explained but the highest grade was a senior with no graduation. I know kids whose highest education was in eighth grade. This shows that students are quitting school way more than before. In the graphs below you can see the rates dropping and rising. As time goes by it seems that less and less students are dropping out. The highest percentage was in 1966 accounted for all races and since the years have passed the percentages have lowered. From 1966 to 2016 the rates have dropped 10 times its original amount. From thirty percent to just three percentage.
