Disneyland, Anaheim Becomes a Vaccination Site for COVID-19

Jacob Arias, Reporter

As we start a new year, we typically have new goals and changes for ourselves. Whether it be going out more, working out more, and other personal goals. But, maybe we cannot do such things in our country’s current situation with the COVID pandemic.

At the same time, we are opening up more businesses, we have officially inaugurated Joe Biden as our new President of the United States, and all seems to be going normal. Some good news for us Southern Californians is that Disneyland in Anaheim will become a COVID-19 vaccination site for the elderly.

It’s wonderful to think that the happiest place on earth, Disneyland, is vaccinating individuals in these trying times. It will help the United States battle against this pandemic, getting much closer to overcoming it. Anaheim located in Orange County, is one of the first in Southern California to give out the vaccination to elderly. Other counties that are giving the vaccine are Riverside and San Bernardino county.
