Top flight security guards

While others will run from the face of danger Colton High School’s new security staff will be there to answer the call. It doesn’t matter rain or shine when someone on campus needs help they’ll be there. Led by head of security Compa the job of a security guard can get hard being so few security and so many students to keep safe. Especially since this is a whole new team this year.

The change was made by John Sacks to shuffle up all the security guards in the district, moving people from Slover, Grand Terrace, Colton Middle School and others. One security guard that got moved from his school was Mike Ayala. Ayala was working at the middle school where he has been for 18 years, of course if you’ve been working somewhere you love for 18 years and someone makes the decision for you you won’t be to happy and at first he wasn’t. Since then he has adjusted and is starting to love working here which is way different from Colton Middle. “wider and more things going on” says Ayala when talking about the difference between Colton High School and Colton Middle “never really know what’s going to happen always something going on” says Ayala. Even though with a lot more on his hands Ayala is adjusting well.

A familiar face to the security team is Melinda who is a one year veteran on this team, When asked about the change she says “I like it just takes time getting use to” that they’ve all worked with each other before.
