Senior Parent Night has the 411 on all things “senior” here at CHS

Senior year, the year of remembrance and fun–with prom, grad night, and graduation not far up the road, these seniors have a lot to look forward to.

But, these seniors all have a lot of responsibility, as well. Senior contracts, payments for senior packages, keeping track of attendance and grades, these are just a few of the responsibilities that seniors will endure throughout their senior year.

With the help of Senior parent night, seniors learned how to manage all the responsibilities, and also the consequences, as well as the rewards, that come with breaking or keeping them. Senior parent night started around 5 pm with a short assembly for the parents on all the information about senior packages, senior contracts, graduation, prom, and grad night. The assembly ended roughly around 6 pm. Then, both parents and students, headed towards Cotton High School McIntosh gymnasium to go ahead and purchase their senior packages if they wished. Many seniors chose package 3, the largest senior package. It consisted of a tassel, cap and gown, tickets for senior events, formal invitations for graduation, along with many other things. Senior year is memorable and is supposed to be the funnest year of all high school. We wish the class of 2018 the best of luck and hope that they succeed in all they do.
