Colton High “Fact of the Day” – Oct. 4

Colton High School opened in 1895. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Inland Empire. In this daily feature, we celebrate Colton High’s rich history.
On January 8, 1966 the administration and counseling offices were burned down at Colton High School. The cost of damage for the building was over $100,000.
They finished rebuilding the admin building in 1967.
No one found out who burned the building, or how it was burned down.
The CHS Publications department is dedicated to covering all things Colton High.
