“IT” inspired haunted house becomes a hit at CHS
November 6, 2017
Halloween. The one time where children can go around, door to door, and ask for free candy. The day where people of all ages dress up and have Halloween parties. It is a really fun day, but as the movie, “Nightmare before Christmas” says, life is no good without a good scare!!! Colton High School has an annual haunted house, to bring joy and some fun to the holiday for all the students. Every year is different themes with different things to expect. And every year it scares most of the students. There were clowns and monsters of all kinds. Since this year’s main theme was Stephen King’s popularized horror novel, ‘IT’, there were more clowns than anything else. The haunted house was open from 2nd to 5th period and all classes were invited to attend. It gets so packed and the lines are always really long. Every year, the Special needs students do a great job of putting this event on for everyone at CHS to enjoy.
