Pennywise is back and scarier than ever. Stephen King’s horror novel IT (1986) has had another movie adaption. Stephen King desired to bring is the story to life in the original film IT which aired November 18, 1990. The horror Sci-Fi film was critically acclaimed urging for a remake. Now, They have delivered a modern installment of a blockbuster and best-selling storyline.

Maintaining the horrifying story of original work, the movie left you on the edge of your seat throughout the 2 hour and 15 minute runtime. The movie begins with an intent horrifying scene of a child being killed by a malicious clown, which sets the scene and plot for the rest of the film. The storyline begins in a small town in the 1980s with a severe issue of missing children.

Gradually throughout the film, more characters begin to behold each with different personalities and their intent was to get to the bottom the mystery and together they did. The evil clown, Pennywise, began showing himself to the young children and causing immediate horror to the viewers. The storyline of the movie continues and leaves you urged for next scene but like most horror films today, IT includes many jump scares. The movie was flared with comedy and horror combined together it made for an extremely entertaining movie with great critic scores and this includes myself as well.

With how the movie concluded, IT is expected to the see a second installment of the blockbuster film set ahead of time when the children are older, in which they oathed to kill the clown if it ever returns to their childhood town. IT is a movie I recommend, it is extremely entertaining and captures the original horror film but modernized.
