“You guys worked so hard,” says Lucy Leyva with a smile, “I’m so proud of you.”

On September 1st, Colton High School’s mock trial team went on the attack in the 1st round of a mock trial competition, held in the San Bernardino Courthouse. The mock trial group was split in two teams–Team Crimson lead by Candice Tapia, and Team Gold lead by Lucy Leyva. Both teams won the first round on an outstanding performance, which ended with a round of applause, hugs and smiles. Round 2 is set for Tuesday, November 8, again at the San Bernardino Courthouse.
