Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare–the good and the bad

Leondro Velarde, Reporter

Call of Duty®. Better known as the money-hungry franchise whose latest three video games have been a disappointment to hardcore fans. A franchise which includes Call of Duty: Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, and Black Ops 3. Many people can agree that Call of Duty has been failing. Can this failing franchise be saved? Possibly.

Just recently the head company who over watches COD, Activision®, has released the beta to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Even with negative responses to its debut trailer this game may have potential. Let’s dig right into its content.

The Bad:

-terrible hit detection

-undedicated servers

-too long to kill people

-copy and pasted HUD of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

The Good:

-solid controls

-great graphics

-map sizes are nice and small for close combat

Final Thoughts:

The game looks beautiful graphic wise. It has the traditional COD controls that feel perfect for the fast paced ness of the game. Maps especially make the game fast paced due to their small designs. Even with all these positives, you can’t enjoy it because of the awful hit detection and undedicated servers. Those 2 things make the game a rage enduring experience for players who have been playing COD for a long time. Just remember this is a beta which means many problems right now will most likely be resolved when the full game releases.
