Have you seen this year’s summer #1 comedy? A must-watch film starring two known comedians—Jake M. Johnson (Ryan O’Malley) and Damon Wayans Jr. (Justin Miller)– which involves Justin and Ryan pretending to be cops and get stirred into a lot of trouble.
This summer movie is devastatingly funny when two long term buddies, Ryan O’Malley and Justin Miller, make a pact: make it in Los Angeles by their 30s or go back to their hometown. They decide to play cops after a reunion. They get treated as cops and decide to buy a real cop car.
As they mess around in the city for multiple nights they finally get pulled over and they lie about being cops to the real cops. A crime happens as soon as they get pulled over so they have to play as cops to the real cops and one of the posing cops, Justin Miller, is spooked by this event and realizes that if they continue they are punishable by law. Ryan convinces Justin to solve a real case using the girl he likes as an example of why they should keep pretending. They get too involved and must let a real cop handle the situation. They realize they have to help the real cop because he couldn’t have done it alone. They save the cop and the day is saved. Ryan becomes a cop and Justin becomes a heard videogame designer. It’s pretty funny, I recommend it. It opened last weekend and is playing locally. Check theaters for showtimes.
