With Savannah Govea in foul trouble in the second half, Zoey Espinos number was called to lead the team as point guard. She was more than up for the challenge. I was really trying to keep the flow with the rest of the team, keep them calm, Espino said. I was really trying to spread it around.

Lia Vellanoweth struggled from the field for most of the game, but came up big when it mattered, scoring five points in the decisive fourth quarter, including a three pointer.
