NFL: Week 5
October 28, 2017
In Week 5 of the NFL Season, things seem to be moving quickly now as we are getting close to a third way of the season.
To start the week off, the Thursday Night game was between the Patriots and Buccaneers. This is a very good matchup considering both teams are very talented. The Patriots won the game. The Patriots seemed to be the better team, but the Bucs did not fall far behind as they put up a good fight. The total of this game was 19-14, the Patriots took the win.
Now to head over to Sunday, we had a very good match up between the Packers and Cowboys. Two of the teams with huge fan bases. Heading into the game odds were, that the Packers win the game slightly. This was another prediction that was accurately placed. During the game there were a few lead changes, that led to a very good game at the end. The cowboys managed to take the lead in the fourth quarter with a little over a minute left, but that wouldn’t stop Aaron Rodgers and the Packers from trying to get the ball downfield and scoring a touchdown to get the win and lead right back. Aaron Rodgers led the team down the field with ease, and then hit Davante Adams for the game winning touchdown with few seconds left remains. It led to the Packers pulling this game out 35-31.
The Monday night game was a not very anticipated game between the Vikings and Bears. Both teams have struggled very much with the QB position which has really messed up the team chemistry and has affected the teams in big ways. This game was a good game for the Bears and their QB, but the Vikings struggled very much as they went through two changes at the position. The game was very low scoring during the first half, but it ended up being a 20-17 Win by the Vikings.
These were some of the highlighted games from Week 5 of the NFL Season.
