Fall has officially come. With fall comes a variety of sports for the season. Including pre-season for Colton High School Girl’s Basketball. This past Saturday, September 30th, Colton High School played against Bloomington High School in a tournament held at San Bernardino High School. The first basket was made by the Bruins. From there on, the entire game was in favor of the Bruins. Both teams played hard and tough. The Bruins coach was very satisfied with how they played. On the other hand, Yellowjacket coach, Keisha Young, knows that she is gonna put in extra work for the girls come around next practice. The Lady Yellowjackets made many mistakes and didn’t really seem to play like a team. Rather they tried to do everything themselves. Little mistakes made a big difference for them. You can tell in the final score of 38-13. The Yellowjackets have a lot of work to put in to make this season better than the last. Congratulations to the Lady Bruins for a nice victory and good luck to both on the season yet to come this winter.
