Girls soccer dreams of title ends in second round defeat

Colton Girls Soccer lost in the second round of the CIF playoffs, 3-0, to the Temescal Canyon Titans, ending their season earlier than expected. Coming into this game, the Lady Jackets had the goal to go pass the Titans and head straight to the finals of CIF.

In the first half, it was a back-and-forth defensive battle between both the Lady Jackets and the Titans to see who would try to score first. However, in the end of that first half, the battle would come to a close as the Titans would score, gaining the lead early.

After halftime, the scoreless drought for the Jackets would continue as they would allow the Temescal Titans to score two more points. With heart and determination, the Girls would try to fight back to get into the lead but it turned out to be too late as the game ended with the final score being 3-0, getting eliminated from CIF in just the 2nd round.
