The Yellowjackets suffered a huge loss, 31-6, this past Friday Night, against Summit High School’s Skyhawks. The first half was all Skyhawk offense. Summit High was scoring touchdown after touchdown, it was not a strong half for Colton. Skyhawks’ Running Back, Damien Alloway contributed with a touchdown in both the first and second quarter. That half certainly had the Hawks soaring past the Jackets.

Then, in the second half with a surprise surge, Yellowjackets’ Wide Receiver, Jason Taylor hustled his way in for a touchdown. It looked like there was hope for the Jackets to turn it around but that ended up being the only Colton touchdown of the game. The remainder of the game saw two more touchdowns for the Skyhawks, ending the night for the Jackets. After the game, Coach Mailo summed up the loss, “Tonight was a tough loss. We have got to work on our defense and just keep playing hard.”

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
