The New York Giants and New England Patriots played a back and forth game.  It was a close game throughout with two lead changes.  The Giants jumped out to a 9-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.  The Patriots scored a field goal and a touchdown to make it 10-9 at the half.

In the second half, Patriots scored a touchdown on their first possession.  The Giants kicked the two field goals to cut the deficit to two.

At the beginning of the fourth quarter the Giants intercepted, quarterback Tom Brady’s pass.  The Giants could not score, so they had to punt it back to the Patriots. The Patriot receivers, Wes Welker and Dion Branch just couldn’t hold onto the ball.  Fourth quarter, the Giant’s running back, Ahmad Bradshaw scored a touchdown with 57 seconds left in the game.  The Patriot’s took possession and threw a long pass into the end zone that was into traffic and batted down by the Giant’s defense.

The Giant’s Eli Manning received his second Super Bowl MVP award and drove away in his new Corvette.
