Being a hard worker can be one thing, but being a hardworking student and a hard working employee at the same time takes a lot of effort. So people often ask the question, How do students who are employed keep up? And this could mean many things keeping up with school and the hard part being a student athlete while you are employed.  Being up to date with your schedules is important, it’s important to know what days you work and what days you have off. It’s important to work ahead! If you catch yourself falling behind, dedicate a day to just work and get as much done and once you have that motivation to keep working and keep up with your work, it’ll come naturally over time. Don’t procrastinate ! 

Prioritize your work, Well working ahead of time can work wonders for you get the small assignments out and the most important ones perfectly done, we want students to feel 100 percent satisfied with their work. Finally time management, this is an important one because I caught myself struggling with this. It’s important to get a good night rest and to know your schedule. 

Although I was struggling I had managed to figure out that within my day I had 4 hours of free time. And it’s simple to count the hours you are in school, count the free hours after that all the way up till work. If you are lucky enough to leave work early count those free hours as well. Managing my time has helped a lot, managing time can lead to good habits. The more difficult part is trying to keep up on a good schedule when it comes time to talk to your manager, it’s scary sometimes but just shoot for it. So why is it so important to learn how to keep up with ourselves within these situations? And it’s because later on in life when we have actual occupations then we must know how to manage time and self motivation comes along with that.
