Senior Natalia Padilla bought her cap and gown in preparation for her graduation. ALL seniors should do the same!

The last day to buy caps and gowns is this Sunday, Feb. 11th for their current prices.

Herf Jones’ will be on campus tomorrow, Feb. 9th, during lunch at the MPR. Their last day on campus will be this Saturday, Feb. 10th, from 12:30 P.M to 2:30 P.M in front of the school.

Right now, the cap, gown, and tassel combo is $50 plus tax. If you’d like to order online, you can do so at www.moongradservices.com.

On the website, make sure to scroll down and go to “Shop Individual Items”. Then make sure to go to either page 3 or 4 to find the Cap and Gown Unit by itself for the $50 plus tax

After February 11th, prices for a cap and gown increase. At that point, you can only buy a cap and gown on Distribution Day (May 16th, 2024) or Graduation Practice (May 22nd, 2024), and sizes are very limited.

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!

Erin Dallatorre, Editor-in-Chief
Erin Dallatorre has finally hit her senior year at Colton High School. After three long years of writing for the Pepper Bough and winning Journalist of the Year, she’s earned the role of Editor-in-Chief (even though she hates it when Mr. Dollins puts her in the spotlight). Whenever she isn’t going back and forth with her journalism advisor, she’s sharing her time as Drum Major of the CHS Marching Band. She copes with the stress of balancing both responsibilities by spending time with her five pets: three dogs, a cat, and a fish. Sometimes though, even her pets drive her crazy.
