The movie ‘House of Gucci’ is a biographical crime film that is said to release in November of 2021. The film is based off the book ‘The house is Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed’. The movie is being recorded in Rome and has well known actors starring in the film like Lady GaGa, Adam Driver, and other actors. 

           Though many people were excited about the movie and looked forward to its release, the Gucci family was not so fond of it. PageSixStyle.com states “They are stealing the identity of a family to make a profit, to increase the income of the Hollywood system … Our family has an identity, privacy. We can talk about everything, But there is a borderline that cannot be crossed”  “My grandfather [Aldo Gucci] was a very handsome man, like all the Guccis, and very tall, blue eyes and very elegant. He is being played by Al Pacino, who is not very tall already, and this photo [photo below] shows him as fat, short, with sideburns, really ugly. Shameful, because he doesn’t resemble him at all,” Patrizia said.”

      When Jared Leto was asked about how they portrayed her father Pablo Gucci she said “Horrible, horrible. I still feel offended ” The Gucci family was disappointed as people could tell in their statements regarding the movie.
