CHS asb blood drive was a success

As we all know, donating blood can save lives. That’s why, 4-5 times every year, Colton High School is proud to partner with LifeStream to allow CHS students to donate blood to help save a life. Although CHS staff would love every student to donate at least one time, there are a few requirements that need to be met in order to participate.

One requirement is you have to 16 or older. If you are 16-17 you have to get a parents permission by signing a paper. If you are 18 you will not need parent permission. You will also need some sort of identification present, whether it be a school I.D. card or a State Identification, it will be needed. You will need to be prepared for a complete checkup when you step into the door. After everything is done, you will spend a while actually drawing blood from your body. Don’t worry all of this is done by professional nurses. Once the process is complete you may grab some snacks provided by LifeStream, to refuel you, and you can proudly say that you saved a life.
