Woman in Seattle Gets Stabbed on Halloween Night
November 8, 2016
Innocent woman in Federal Way neighborhood, Seattle on Halloween night casually passes out candy to trick-or-treaters when a young teenager randomly stabs her.
The woman was stabbed in the abdomen when she offered the boy candy. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is expected to survive.
She gave a vague description of her attacker but police are hoping she’ll eventually be able to help them create a sketch of him.
The teenager, described as an African American 14 or 16 year old, is believed to not have motive or reason to target the victim.
Federal Way Police Cmdr. Stan McCall says, “Certainly don’t know any motive or that the victim was targeted. We don’t have any information like that.”
Police searched the scene the next day to find any evidence. The vague description of the teenager was not enough to capture him after he fled the scene.
If the teenager decided to do this without reason, neighbors fear for their lives and want to know so they’re not the next target.
