Warner Brothers Studios is a broad-based entertainment company. The company produces every aspect of the entertainment industry, and fortunately I got the privilege to have a tour of the studio, along with students from Colton Highs Film Studies Class.
The tour is open to the public, with starting prices at $54.00 per person. The tour consist of traveling around the whole lot, on a little tram along with a tour guide to tell you about the history.
At the beginning before you go on the tour you watch about a 10 minute about the history of Warner Brothers studio. Then you go on this wonderful, mind blowing tour. The lot has different areas that create the illusion that you’re in a whole different state.
Movies like The Mask, Spiderman, etc. Shows also like F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and The Big Bang Theory have many scenes that come from the Warner Bros studios, and the sound stages they have there.
I also got the privilege to go on the sound stage for the Ellen DeGeneres talk show; unfortunately we could not take pictures. The tour also involves you going to the museum they have on the lot. The first floor is 50 years of great film pictures and costumes. And the second floor is filled with nothing but The Harry Potter Films.
Overall the tour was very a good experience and I recommend it highly. And if you think the pricing is a little too much, believe me it’s worth it.
