Colton High School’s Key Club Lieutenant Governor, also known as an LTG, has been chosen for next school year. Currently serving is fellow senior Arturo Lopez whilst junior, Aaron Gomez, will soon be taking over.
Art Lopez’s term may be ending on March 24th, but he still has to oversee how all the clubs in division 36-west are doing at schools such as A.B. Miller, Arroyo Valley, Bloomington, Carter, Cajon, Eisenhower, Fontana, Jurupa Hills, Kaiser, Rialto, Summit and soon to be Grand Terrace.
As an LTG, he attends board meetings in various parts of California where they discuss what is going to occur in the division and if any changes will be made. Personally, Art Lopez holds monthly meetings called Division Council Meetings where he informs clubs what is happening within the division, district, and internationally.
When asked how he felt about passing Wesley the Husky on to Aaron Gomez at the district convention that is due to be held on March 24th, Arturo Lopez said “I could’ve done more, but it’s Aaron’s turn to leave a legacy.”
L-O-V-E, WE LOVE OUR LTG!
