“All About Colton” podcast crew shoots an episode about HEAL pathway.

What is “All About Colton”? We are Colton High’s official pathway podcast!

Colton High’s pathway programs are among the first exposure our students get to life as a professional after high school. It is where our students start shaping their identities. We want to celebrate these pathways and offer our community understanding of the variety of information available to our students. It’s the pathways offered at Colton High.

“All About Colton” is presented by hostesses Jocelyn Lopez, Bianca Martinez, and Anetsa Perez.

Expect in-depth podcast videos for each pathways, exploring and understanding more about each one, what they do, and how they impact the community. This initiative helps students learn about their options, make informed choices, and connect with peers who share similar interests.

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!

Anetsa Perez, Staff Writer

Anetsa Perez is a senior at Colton High School. This is her first and last year writing for the Pepper Bough. Born and raised in Bakersfield, California, she came to Colton and started at Colton Middle School. She spent a year being on the Falcon News as a reporter. She plays clarinet and enjoys playing as an ensemble with her class in concerts. She has the support of her parents and four amazing little sisters, and has a responsibility as the oldest. Despite all that responsibility, she also has the time to be a dog mom.

Jocelyn Lopez, Staff Writer

Jocelyn Lopez is currently a senior at Colton High School. This is her first year working on the Pepper Bough. Her activities are drawing, reading, and spending time with Kaeley Diaz. Not only is she in Pepper Bough, but also the HEAL Pathway/Club, and band. If she is not working on Pepper Bough she is in the band as band president. Outside of school, she works on her business creating pinatas and centerpieces and uploading them on Instagram Mariposa._.decor.
