Do you want to have a blast this summer? Then you should grab a couple of friends or family, and head down to the Los Angeles County Fair! It’s fun and exciting for everyone.
You can go check out the farm animals, catch a concert, eat until you’re sick, and scream at the top of your lungs. But, it’s recommended that you go early so you can get great deals on purchasing tickets to enter the fair. It’s the best place to go on weekends, especially for the family.
There are rides for all ages: kiddie rides for the little ones, and of course the extremely scary rides for teens and older adults. (Well … maybe not for the seniors!) There are plenty of mini areas for the elderly to sit and watch peacefully.
On the other hand, what people aren’t so excited for are the ridiculous prices for food. You’re basically paying $6.00 for fries, a corndog, and a cup you’re going to have to end up throwing away. Buy the souvenir cup! It’s around $3.00, and refills are only $2.75. It really does save you money since you can bring the cup along every year the fair comes around.
When it comes to food you’re better off packing some snacks, like cookies, cheese crackers, water bottles, mini sandwiches, etc. Food inside the fair is nothing but fried foods which are very unhealthy. You may think it looks appealing when it comes to the point where your stomach begins to growl at you. But, you’re better off with a bag of chips since its more than likely healthier than the food they offer at the fair.
Lastly, it’s a fun day out and I guarantee it’s worth paying for.
