Have you ever been bullied before? Or experienced the feeling? Do you not think teasing and name calling affects a person? Words hurt, so be with us and help stop bullying; what you say may take someone’s life!
Bullies are usually people who have deeply been hurt, and take out their pain on other people. What they find “hilarious” can stay within someone’s mind for the rest of their life. It can become permanent, and haunt them from that day on.
I speak in experience; in all of my elementary years I would go by ugly, fish lips, giraffe, etc. Since then, I found myself more and more insecure than ever. Today, I still look back, and honestly I laugh and take every negative thing as a beautiful comment. It has made me stronger, and in the future, it’ll tell me not everybody’s going to be nice. And there will always be haters, jerks, who still carry on the word “bully.”Those words are still buried deep down in the back of my mind. It’s just something you have to talk about with someone. Tell a random stranger about your situation, do something so you don’t feel alone, miserable, etc. Be YOU! Find something you love to do. As long as you show you’re happy, and have a positive mind, these hurtful words will no longer hurt or matter.
If you’ve ever been bullied, there are people you can talk to. You’re not the only one that has gone through this. There are thousands of people who have been bullied. Talk to people, it’ll get better. I promise you that. It just takes some patience and some time. Have hope, because pain doesn’t last forever.
So don’t bully. It’s not cute or funny. What you say may never be forgotten! Think before you speak, because your words can cost a person their confidence, their happiness, even their life.
