Instrument of Choice: Flute/ Piccolo

Favorite Musician: Louis Armstrong

Who/What influenced you to play?: By exposing me to a variety of different instruments and styles of music, my elementary school’s band director influenced me to play music.

How long have you been playing?: I’ve been playing for 9 years. I started playing the Flute in 4th grade, Piccolo in 9th grade.

What’s your favorite song to play?: My favorite song to play is our school’s fight song, ‘On Wisconsin’. It makes me feel proud of our school and community.

What keeps you going?: The excitement that comes with learning a new song and being able to play it with other people.
