Crystal Becerra a junior here at Colton High was chosen by her soccer coach, Manuel Flores to be Offensive Player of the week.  I sat down with Crystal and asked her a few questions.

Nathan:  What position do you play?

Crystal:  I play forward.

Nathan:  What is your pre-game ritual?

Crystal:  As a team we pray.

Nathan:  What is your best memory with your team?

Crystal:  Coming back from away games on the bus.

Nathan:  What is your favorite song before a game?

Crystal:  “Take a Walk” by Passion Pit.

Nathan:  What is your favorite motivational quote?

Crystal:  “Greatness will be found.”

Nathan:  What have you gained from your experience this season?

Crystal:  Being a leader and learning to work as a team.

Nathan:  What would you like people to know about you that they don’t already know?

Crystal:  My passion for soccer is greater than it seems to be.

Crystal’s Coach, Manuel Flores said, “Crystal had one of her best weeks for the team.  She was composed on the ball. Held the ball and looked for quality runs and shots.  Her work rate was outstanding.  She scored the first goal of league play.”
