Colton High “Fact of the Day” – May 20
Colton High School opened in 1895. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Inland Empire. In this daily feature, we celebrate Colton High’s rich history.
On November 6th, 2017 the Colton High School stadium began demolitions for its upgrade, which was planned to be completed by November 7th, 2018 into the stadium we know today.
The demolition of the stadium was a bittersweet event for the Colton community. The improvements included new bleachers, renovated ticket booths, two locker rooms on each side of the field, and a snack bar. Additionally, the entrance to the stadium was remodeled.
Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
