On February 1, 1952, the Yellowjacket Pom Pom girls unveiled new colorful uniforms.
The unveiling event took place at the pep rally before a basketball game against San Bernardino High. The theme for the rally was “Box Berdoo.”
The band played the school song, “Tho Berdoo,” as the girls made their initial appearance in their new outfit. The colors were the usual combination of gold corduroy with crimson trim.
