Pete Castro served as custodian at CHS for 28 years until 2005. He was also a graduate from the Class of 1966.
Colton High School opened in 1895. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Inland Empire. In this daily feature, we celebrate Colton High’s rich history.
Pete Castro, Jr. was born in 1947 and passed away in 2005. As a graduate of Colton High School with the class of 1966, he was a member of the Boys’ Forum.
After school, he became a custodian at CHS for 28 years. Pete took great pride in Colton High and gave time and effort into his services taking care of the campus.
He is remembered as a smiling, happy, hard worker.
The CHS Publications department is dedicated to covering all things Colton High.
