Colton High “Fact of the Day” – Dec. 4

Olive E. Clark, featured here to the far right, served at Colton High from 1917-1947. She was Vice-Principal in the 1946 school year.

Colton High School opened in 1895. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Inland Empire. In this daily feature, we celebrate Colton High’s rich history.

In 1946, the Crimson & Gold yearbook honored vice-principal Olive E. Clark for her 28 years dedicated to working at Colton High School.

Other than being a passionate and well-loved vice principal, she would also have fun. She made memories with her students as a makeup artist and would give them fun new looks.

Overall, Clark was remembered to be lovingly devoted to her job and the students on campus. And she enjoyed brightening up her student’s day and making Colton High School a better place.
