Colton High “Fact of the Day” – Nov. 6
Kermit Stokes, beloved CHS Campus Supervisor, began working at CHS in 2014.
Colton High School opened in 1895. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Inland Empire. In this daily feature, we celebrate Colton High’s rich history.
In 2014, Kermit Stokes became a security guard at Colton High and very quickly became a students’ favorite. He became a security guard because he “gets to interact with the students” and “wanted to work at schools to help students not get themselves into trouble.”
Since Stokes joined Colton High, he has become extremely popular on campus as “the cool security guard,” due to his upbeat personality and contagious smile. He is truly a favorite here at Colton High.
The CHS Publications department is dedicated to covering all things Colton High. Please consider donating. Every little bit helps support good journalism in Colton.
