Colton High School opened in 1895. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Inland Empire. In this daily feature, we celebrate Colton High’s rich history.
Colton High celebrated its 104th football Homecoming on October 15, 1999. The Yellowjackets defeated Yucaipa 28-17.
At halftime, Jason Calderilla was crowned Homecoming King and Serena Martinez was coronated as Homecoming Queen.
The Homecoming Court included princes Chris Muir, Joey Romero, Jesus Velasquez, and Brian Pope; Homecoming Queen included princesses Jennifer Smith, Nicole Reiter, Melissa Zamora, and Reina Ramirez.
The CHS Publications department is dedicated to covering all things Colton High.
