In 1996, Jason Avila and Toni Gray were crowned Colton High’s Homecoming King and Queen.
Colton High School opened in 1895. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Inland Empire. In this daily feature, we celebrate Colton High’s rich history.
The 1996 Homecoming week was all about candy. Willy Wonka showed up at the Homecoming Parade to throw tons of treats out into the crowd.
What wasn’t so sweet? Losing to Eisenhower, 35-12.
At halftime, Jason Avila was crowned Homecoming King and Toni Gray was crowned Homecoming Queen.
