Colton High School opened in 1895. It is one of the oldest high schools in the Inland Empire. In this daily feature, we celebrate Colton High’s rich history.
Colton High School turned 100 in 1995. It first opened on September 23, 1895 with a total enrollment of 35 students. The high school students shared a building with the elementary school students of the first Lincoln grammar school. W.F. Bliss was the principal for both schools.
