A Dumpling Making event being organized by the Chinese Club to celebrate Chinese New Year will happen Feb. 15th after school

This Friday, Feb. 8th,  the Chinese Club will start selling 5$ entry tickets for their dumpling-making event taking place on Feb. 15th after school.

To be able to purchase a ticket, you can either sign up in Room 542 or just ask a club member to sign you up. There are only 15 tickets to be sold for this event, and the deadline to buy tickets is Feb. 14th.

If you’re able to buy a ticket, the dumpling-making will take place in the Culinary room for about two hours, where you can pick and choose what ingredients can be in the dumplings. The ingredients the club will provide are ground pork, cabbage, ginger, and green onions. The club also welcomes you to bring your own ingredients or leave a request for the Club to provide different or more ingredients themselves.

To make a request or ask any questions, DM the Chinese Club on Instagram; @chs_chineseclub24

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!

Erin Dallatorre, Editor-in-Chief
Erin Dallatorre has finally hit her senior year at Colton High School. After three long years of writing for the Pepper Bough and winning Journalist of the Year, she’s earned the role of Editor-in-Chief (even though she hates it when Mr. Dollins puts her in the spotlight). Whenever she isn’t going back and forth with her journalism advisor, she’s sharing her time as Drum Major of the CHS Marching Band. She copes with the stress of balancing both responsibilities by spending time with her five pets: three dogs, a cat, and a fish. Sometimes though, even her pets drive her crazy.
