New Pokémon Snap is out to the public today and so is a new app that allows you to print out the photos you save on your Nintendo Switch!

Originally back in 1999 if Pokémon Snap players wanted to print out the photos they made they would have to go to a Blockbuster and use the Pokémon Snap Station in the store. But since Blockbuster had closed since 2010 Nintendo went with a new way to have players print their photos!

With the help of Fujifilm Nintendo has released an app that works with the Fujifilm Instax Mini Link smartphone printer. The app is specifically designed to work with the Nintendo Switch and although the printer is recommended for New Pokémon Snap photos, pictures from any game you’ve taken a screenshot from in your Nintendo Switch can be printed, along with Nintendo themed frames that can be used for photos in your camera roll!

To print the photos you need to click on the upload option, have the app scan the QR code on your Nintendo Switch’s or Tv’s screen then the screenshot will be on your phone and ready to be printed by the Instax printer.
