Hunt Showdown Review

Luigi Galvan

Hunt showdown is a game where you are put against other people in the louisiana bayou in the 1800. Hunt will take up much of your time with how addicting the gameplay loop is. In the game you and the other players have to find clues to find a monster you need to kill, while finding clues you have to fight other players trying to do the same.

When you kill the monster you can get their bounty and leave with rewards. This game has many weapons and gear that were around in the 1800 and other weapons that were never real but dont look out of place. The game has a wide variety of monsters to fight, like a regular zombie all the way to a new boss called scrapbook and is veteran soldier that was transformed into a dark abomination, cursed by the trauma of experiencing man’s inhumanity to man. Yup I did not just make it up, it is in the boss’s description.

The gun play in the game feels a bit stiff and it’s the same with moving around and looking around but after a while of playing you get used to it and it finds out how the gun feels in the game. There are still some problems with this game and most of the problems come from the console version. Where the ps4 version has some graphics and pop in problems compared to the pc. The pc version does not have these problems but you do need a good pc to play this game. And the menu is not that good, they could easily change it for the better. But even with these problems I would give the game a 4.5 out of 5.
