I was in Chicago at the Bears, Vikings game Sunday. I was the coach and I was he quarterback, Jay Cutler. I was playing Madden NFL 12 on my PlayStation 3. This game is the most realistic football game on the market today. It made me feel like I was not only at the game, but I was playing in the game.
In Madden NFL 12, you get to call your own plays. A new feature is the hot and cold player gage. It tells what player is playing, both good or bad, and it explains why. It told me Devin Hester was playing good for example, because he doesn’t drop passes. It has a Super Star mode, where you can be any player in the NFL. You can also play online. The game also has a Super Bowl mode where you can play any two teams in the Super Bowl that you want to go to the big game. Another feature is the Franchise mode. You can choose to be the team owner and sign or trade players for your team.
The one feature that stands out is, you can be or coach Colton High Alumni football players, Shareece Wright who is now with the San Diego Chargers, Jimmy Smith from the Baltimore Ravens and Allen Bradford, who is now with the Seattle Seahawks. This is a great feature that Colton High students will really appreciate.
I give Madden NFL 12, a 5 out of 5 stars.
