Popular K-Pop band BTS and rapper Megan Thee Stallion released a remix of BTS’s popular song ‘Butter’ August 27th on all streaming platforms.

Though this collaboration was quite unexpected, their different styles really come together on the track, which climbed to #7 this week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Amazingly, this song, which featured on last week’s Colton Vibe, almost didn’t get released. On August 24, Megan petitioned a Texas court for the song’s release. ‘Butter’ was held up by the record label 1501 Certified Entertainment’s CEO, Carl Crawford, who did not like the new remix and tried to shelve it. The court granted Megan’s request.

Thankfully, this court made a good decision. In ‘Butter’s’ first five seconds you’re met with Megan’s “It’s the hot girl coach and BTS” and you instantly know that this song is everything you needed.

Megan’s energy and rap on ‘Butter’s’ vibrant vibe produces an amazing outcome. At 45 seconds, she clears her throat before pouncing on the beat.

Her different style of rapping is so refreshing. It is shocking how family-friendly she is on ‘Butter.’

This collaboration was definitely something different and unexpected.
