Series Review – Drag Racing

Drag Race power ranking, who is going home first, and who are power plays?

This season of Rupaul’s Drag Race has already been so thrilling from the challenges to the eliminations, this season has all the stops. The first episode had us on our toes when we started the season off with 6 eliminations! Straight out the gate a plot twist including both groups of 6, the winners and non winners have to perform a song with their own verses written in.

The winners included: Kandy Muse, Gottmik, Tina Burner, LaLa Ri, Oliva Lux, Eliott with 2 T’s and Symone. These lovely six individuals killed each challenge from the runway to the performance. So what’s the lineup for players on the top or bottom? Symone has already gifted us with her personality and runways but the times she has lip synced she has shown us that she has got what it takes to go all the way. Gottmik is such a beautiful queen and their makeup is on point and their runways are so good! Gottmik recently came out as transgender and that gives her the power to represent for people that are also trans. Oliva lux is so adorable, she is well rounded but we are yet to see what she can do other than sing and perform. Elliott With 2 T’s, Elliott was first eliminated in her lipsync against Ms.Kahmora Hall and Tina Burner, then was eliminated out of the loser queens. So Elliott definitely had something to prove and she showed us. Tina Burner has the fire (haha get it?) to go all the way, she is a balanced type performer meaning she doesn’t really have a strong suit yet but we will wait to see. Kandy Muse has such a strong personality and she makes good for TV but so far she has been flatlining in the challenges and she messed up in the performance immensely.

I’m excited to see where they are going to be at – in the next couple of weeks till then we will rank the next set of queens from the eliminated group.
