Despite recent backlash towards the series, Selena The Series was a good watch. However, there were a few things that I didn’t like and sided with the general public opinion. These opinions being that: they based her off more from the Selena movie starring Jenifer Lopez than Selena herself,  the movie they based off the story from was either from the dad’s or sister’s perspective.

    Apart from those few things, I enjoyed the series. It’s funny and heartfelt and shows you a little more detail on the life of Selena Quintanilla, starting from her childhood including her start in her career.
