2019 was an odd year, it had some ups and some downs and for the most part it was a pretty normal and smooth sailing year. However, in the case of the entertainment industry, 2019 was just a gift that kept on giving. It surprised us with its line up of exceptional entertainment goodness and whether it was in; the gaming industry, the Anime industry, the movie and show industries. One of those gifts in the year 2019 was the Teen Drama series Euphoria.

The show tackles the representation of real teen issues, such as drug addiction, anxiety disorder, depression, physical and sextual insecurities, and most of all coming to terms with oneself. It centers around the life of 17-year-old Rue Bennett, a drug addict who is reluctant to change. After the occurrence of a drug overdose before the start of the new school year, she is sent to a rehabilitation center and even after all of that still has no plans of sobering up.

The series also revolves around her life as a teenager and the everyday struggles that she goes through as well as the other characters surrounding her such; as her best friend Jules, who is also searching for where she belongs in the world, Nate, a Jock with serious anger issues that is anchored by the sins of his father and his sextual insecurity; Chris, a former football star who is having issues adjusting to his new life as a college student, and even more characters. Each of their stories are woven in a web of emotional turmoil that continues to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
