These two movies having the same plot about a convention of witches in a hotel, turning kids into mice also have many differences. The first change we got in the 2020 version of the movie was the location which takes place in Alabama, while the 1990 version takes place in New England. The second difference that I noticed was how the witches looked in the old version, they had no hair, nasty teeth, and as for the Grand high Witch she wears a human face mask and when she takes it off, she has a hideous face. While in the new one, the witches all look the same to the original, except for they only have one toe and three fingers, and the Grand high witch doesn’t wear a mask, but does have a long and wide smile. In the newer movie, the mouse that the main character has, turns out to be another person that got turned into a mouse by a witch, while in the older version they were just regular mice. One of the big differences in the film are the endings, in the older version the kids turn back into humans after the Grand high witch’s assistant helps them, but in the newer version the kids stay as mice since there was no assistant. Overall both movies were fun to watch. I would recommend both movies to people.
