The Promise Neverland is an anime/manga series. The manga was released in August 2016 and became very successful but the show wasn’t released till January 2019 finishing in March 2019. 

    The show has become insanely popular though it hasn’t been released for a long time. As of right now, The Promise Neverland only has 12 released episodes you can watch. The Promised Neverland is on Netflix, Hulu, Funimation, HBO Max, and Crunchyroll. 

    Many fans were not happy with the ending of this show though, and felt like it was not put to justice. With many fans asking for season 2 to be released their wishes were finally granted. The second season was announced to premiere on January 7, 2021 on Fuji Tv, a Japanese television station. There are many theories on what the second season will be about and if it will follow the manga series or change for TV. But there has been a teaser trailer released on YouTube.
