Parasite is a foreign thriller/comedy movie that had its world premiere at the ‘Cannes Film Festival’ on the 21st of May. The movie was directed by Bong-Joon-Ho and stars actors; Cho Yeo-Jeong, Park So-Dam, Choi Woo-Shik, Jeong Ji-So, Kang-Ho Song, and other talented supporting actors.

The movie follows the Kim family as they scheme their way into getting employed by the wealthy Park family, by infiltrating their workers, and replacing them with their own family members one-by-one. The movie takes a dark and twisted turn when they find that the Parks family’s former house maid hid her husband in the basement of the Park’s house and they both have to fight to secure their place in the house. The movie makes an interesting commentary on greed and class discrimination in society.
