Did you watch the VMA’s this year?

Here is a overview of what happened this year.

First of all, if you didn’t know, VMA stands for video music awards. There were so much performances like Fifth Harmony, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, and many more amazing performers. This years host of MTV’s VMAs was Katy Perry who did an amazing job.

Now for some of the winners. Kendrick Lamar won video of the year with his song “Humble.” Artist of the year was won by Ed Sheeran, Best Pop was won by Fifth Harmony Ft.Gucci Mane with their song “Down,” and many other winners. I hope you are a fan of Kendrick Lamar because he took the most awards of the night. Lamar went home with not just one award but with five. This must have been huge for Lamar and for all his fans that voted for him this year.

A big part of the VMA’s is the awards but another part for most people is all the amazing outfits. People showed up in something that most people could only dream of owning. People showed up in  different types styles and materials. All of this makes the VMA’s great but what makes it really amazing is the little bit of drama that goes on.

One example is when Fifth Harmony throws shade at Camila Cabello during their performance. We all are aware that Camila Cabello left the group to start her own singing career. Well while the four girls were positioned to began their performance there were five shadows, which didn’t make sense at all. Then all of. A sudden the figure in the middle go pulled away and the rest of the girls began their performance. I wonder what Camila felt or thought after this. In conclusion the VMA’s were amazing with great performances, amazing outfits, and even a little bit of drama. Congratulations to all of the winners this year and especially to Kendrick Lamar for winning five awards.
